The search for energy is over with Hyper Energy Bar. Although there are many coffee shop options in the Des Moines Metro, Hyper provides people with handcrafted energy.
Hyper is a drive through energy bar. Focused on fast, and friendly service, Hyper is different from a traditional coffee shop. Hyper has an innovative menu, primarily focusing on energy drinks with a wide variety of flavors.
Since 2021, Hyper has been serving the Des Moines Metro. Originally started in West Des Moines, Hyper now has five other locations in the metro — Altoona, Ankeny, Grimes, Urbandale, and Waukee. And now a new location in Iowa City, which opened on November 20th.
Focused on customer service, Hyper aims to build personal connections with their customers. All orders are taken, paid for, and recived at the window with an energista — a hyper employee.
Menu
The main item on the menu, is the hyper-infused energy drink. A caffinated beverage with an energy drink base, and flavored syrups. These drinks come in caffiene-free and sugar-free options. The most popular hyper-infused drinks come from the traditional menu. Some drinks include the Pink Power, Cosmic Lightning, and Violet Voltage.
Hyper releases new infused energy drink every season. Right now, some of the Christmas menu drinks include the Rudolph’s Rush, Blitzen’s Bliss, and Dasher’s Delight.
In addition to the hyper-infused energy drinks, Hyper serves lattes, smoothies, muffins, and cake pops. There’s something for everyone at Hyper energy!
Media and Hyper Swag
Hyper has a strong online presence with their social media accounts. Follow them on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok for fun online content. They also have a montly newsletter that people can subscribe to.
For the most loyal Hyper fans, people can rock Hyper swag, which can be found in store, and online. T-shirts, hoodies, hats, and other merchandise are all sold at Hyper.
At the beginning of every month, Hyper releases a new sticker that can be received with the purchase of a drink or snack — but get them before their gone, because they sell out fast!
Hyper Energy Bar
Hyper energy is continuing to expand. Not only are six locations in the Des Moines Metro, Hyper is in Iowa City, and plans to go to Kansas City in 2025.
