I think you’ll agree with me when I say it can be hard to decide what to do on a night out with your family. It’s REALLY hard to decide on new ideas that you, your partner, and your child will like.

We have the top 5 best things to do in Des Moines. We guarantee you will LOVE the activities on this list.

#1: Alice in Wonderland Experience

The Alice in Wonderland Experience is an immersive outdoor escape-room style experience. Teams will Scramble across town on foot, solving clues and completing challenges against the clock. You can start any time between 9 am and 2 pm on the day. The event lasts between 2 to 3 hours on average. The experience unfolds exclusively via an app. You can also get your team dressed up and celebrate the madness of Wonderland.

Dinner Detective is America’s largest interactive comedy murder mystery dinner theatre show. You will be able to solve a hilarious mystery while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Reasons to go:

If those reasons weren’t enough, I interviewed a 2021 attendee.

I brought my family to Dinner Detective and we had the BEST time. The |was delicious and the show itself was hilarious. We even put my son as a |prime suspect and he was so shocked. Even in the end, people still |thought it was my son, which was funny.
