Where to get the best coffee in the City of Des Moines

Mars Cafe is hands down the best coffee in Des Moines and possibly the nation. I highly recommend the iced caramel latte, basic, but the most delicious latte I’ve ever had. They have booths, tables, couches, and side chairs for you to choose. Gorgeous artwork is on the walls to appreciate and purchase. This coffeeshop is located next to Des Moines private university, Drake University. You’ll probably see a few college students studying.

In the heart of Downtown Des Moines, Scenic Route Bakery masters delicious pastries with amazing coffee. From croissants to specialty lattes, Scenic Route Bakery has a large volume of tables to sit at that matches their large popularity. Don’t come here on a Sunday though. They’re closed!
